Applied Research to develop new TIMPs based on gaps

The aim of Component 2 of the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP) is to Strengthen Climate Smart Agricultural Research and Seed Systems. One of the ways to strengthen research is to develop new TIMPs based on identified research gaps.

KALRO and partners from NARS are implementing the following projects to develop new TIMPS. The projects cut across the crops, livestock, aquaculture, land water and agroforestry and socioeconomics thematic areas.
