About The AgriFI CS AP Project

AgriFI Kenya support to Climate Smart Agricultural Productivity Project (AgriFI Kenya CS APP) is a 5-year Government of Kenya project co-funded through a grant from the European Union.. The project is funded to the tune of Euro 6.5 million of which Euro 5 million is EU grant support and 1.5 million GOK Co-funding. It is implemented by the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) in collaboration with its partners. The project became effective on 4th January 2019.

The AgriFI Kenya CS APP is an integral part of the overall, EU-Kenya-(AgriFI) “Support to productive, adapted and market integrated smallholder agriculture, including a contribution to the Africa Investment Facility” programme. KALRO is responsible for Result 1: Climate change adapted and innovative agricultural technologies with potential for market integration developed and adopted.
